Standard explosion-proof boxes for installation of heating systems of GTG-VK2 (SA-A2CORD)
PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION
GTG-VK2 is an effective solution from GORELTEX for connection and input of cables of electric heating systems under hear insulation which simplifies installation and excludes damage to heating cable during its input under heat insulation, as well as it splices ends of the heating cable for T-shaped branches. GTG-VK2 are applied for all types of GTG heating accessories and cables of third party manufacturers.
Design of supporting brackets enables convenient mounting on the pipe with round cross-section. The box shall be fastened to the pipe with a metal fastening clamp which is included in the set. The clamp ensures reliability of the grounding circuit between the pipe and the enclosure;
Scope of application – outdoor and indoor hazardous areas as per explosion protection marking, GOST 30852.13-2002 (IEC 60079-14:1996), for use in presence of combustible dust, as per GOST IEC 61241-3-2011, dangerous production facilities of I, II, III, IV hazard class supervised by Rostechnadzor and national technical supervision bodies of the Customs Union and CIS countries.
