DVG-KV explosion-proof limit switches are intended for switching electrical control, signaling and monitoring circuits and for control of moving parts of mechanisms under the impact of the controlling stops at the defined travel points of the controlled object.Limit switches are usually installed in places where movements of the mechanism or its moving part shall be stopped. Principle of operation of the limit switch is based on breaking the electrical power supply circuit of the mechanism in case of contact with the stopper. A large selection of switching mechanisms and various configurations of contacts are offered for all explosion-proof limit switches.

Explosion-proof limit switches DVG-KV are perfectly suitable for application in the potentially hazardous areas, as they are compact, multi-functional and simple in installation and operation. Part which vary from model to model are contacts and head make Schneider Electric series Telemecanique; the enclosure and cover make Goreltex are always the same. Moving pin and bushing installed in the enclosure and ensuring explosion protection are made from stainless steel.
The head is fastened to the enclosure with 4 screws, the contacts are inserted into the contact block that is connected to the cover. The enclosure and cover have cylindrical thread and are fastened with 4 screws.
Enclosure of the explosion-proof limit switches DVG-KV is made from corrosion-resistant aluminum-silicon alloy resistant to salt spray and other chemical substances including hydrogen sulfide and hydrochloric acid vapors, with moisture and dust protection IP66.
Scope of application - hazardous indoor and outdoor areas in accordance with explosion protection marking, GOST 30852.13-2002 (IEC 60079-14:1996) and areas hazardous with combustible dust ignition, as per GOST IEC 61241-3-2011, dangerous production facilities of I, II, III, IV hazard classes under supervision of Rostekhnadzor and national supervisory bodies of the CU and the CIS countries.

Explosion-proof enclosure of the limit switch is manufactured from stainless steel. Powder coating with epoxy paint color grey RAL7035. Screws for enclosure and cover are made from stainless steel.
Enclosure is equipped with inner and outer ground bolt. Connection joints of enclosure with cover and a head have silicone seals. Limit switch shall be fastened using 2 mounting holes 5,4x8 mm.
Schneider Electric contact block series XE2… is extracted from the device together with enclosure cover which ensures maximum convenience of device installation. Contact blocks are manufactured from reinforced nylon with different types of contacts and have a regulating screw for an accurate setting of actuating point. Contacts have numbers, contact type designation and identification code
.Various types of interchangeable Schneider Electric heads series Telemecanique type ZCKE are applied in DVG-KV explosion-proof limit switches. All heads are complete with fixating captive screws. There are no specific rules defining selection of one or another head: head selection is determined by correspondence to customer’s needs.
Mode of operation of mechanical part can be adjusted directly on the head.
Option of actuator positioning with pitch 5° or 45° in vertical plane or with pitch 90° in horizontal plane.
