ZKG-N Stainless Steel Explosion-Proof Heated Cabinet for I&C

ZKG-N series explosion-proof anti-vandal heated cabinets for I&C are used for protection of I&C against negative impact of low temperature, dust, chemicals, mechanical damage and unauthorized access. The cabinets are located on open sites and in unheated rooms for installation of various Ex equipment, and also as enclosures of local control stations and cabinets if their installation in hazardous areas is required.

The stainless steel robust enclosure protects I&C against mechanical damage, while high level of protection IP66 protects the equipment against dust and moisture.

Various types of heating systems can be installed in the cabinet (electric heating, water and steam heating) that ensure appropriate conditions for the operation of I&C. An additional layer of flexible heat insulating material maintains heat for a long time.

The structure features the removable panels that were specially designed for the convenience of cable glands mounting. Drilling of holes and cable glands mounting can be performed on the work table.

I&C cabinets are available in 2 dimension types, non-standard dimensions of the enclosures and mounting plates are possible upon customer’s request.

Scope of application - hazardous indoor and outdoor areas in accordance with the assigned explosion protection marking - category II for gas subgroups IIA, IIB, IIC, zones 1, 2, category III for dust IIIA, IIIB, IIIC, zones 21, 22.

Remark: For option /SHINA Z, bus bars with 2 holes x 16 mm2 and a row of holes 6 mm2 are installed by default (the quantity depends on the bus bar length). Installation of bus bars with different diameter of holes is possible upon customer’s approval.

Non-standard dimensions of the enclosures and mounting plates are possible upon customer’s request.

For heating of internal volume of ZKG protective housings, use GTG-MODULE heater module, GTG-RADIATOR2 Ex heater and GTG-PLASTINA1 Ex heating plates.

Marking

Marking applied to the boxes shall include the following data:
– manufacturer trademark;
– product type;
– factory number and year of production;
– explosion protection marking;
– permitted ambient temperature.

For water or steam heating only:
– operating temperature shall be indicated on the nameplate (Ts);
– additional nameplate with the temperature and pressure value of heating medium shall be attached.
